Parav Patel is an associate with KPPB LAW’s Corporate Law Practice led by Co-Founding Partner Sonjui Kumar. Parav provides transactional services, corporate governance, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements and data privacy and security laws for KPPB LAW’s business clients.
Prior to joining KPPB LAW, Parav’s practice focused on counseling multiple SaaS digital business services providers. She specialized in negotiating and drafting contracts for information technology services and software. She also led commercial agreements for private agencies, working with state, federal, and private entities. These agreements included partnership contracts, master services and/or supply agreements, statements of work, reseller agreements, distributor agreements, software licensing agreements, cloud services agreements, subcontractor agreements, and other corporate agreements.
In her role as corporate counsel, Parav regularly counseled executives on general corporate governance matters, including equity agreements, convertibles, warrants, stock option grants, and employee/consultant agreements. She also gained experience in drafting and negotiating key employment agreements, shareholder agreements, advisory agreements, venture financing agreements for institutional and private investors, as well as conducting due diligence on investment opportunities and managing investor relations.
Parav earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Nirma University – Institute of Law (Ahmedabad, India), where she graduated with honors. Parav is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and is based in KPPB LAW’s Northern Virginia office.
