Parav Patel

Parav Patel is an associate in KPPB LAW’s Corporate and Investment Management practices, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and transactional matters.

Parav represents buyers, sellers, founders, and investors in asset and equity acquisitions, strategic investments, and related transactions. She advises clients on corporate governance, due diligence, and general business matters in connection with domestic and cross-border transactions. She also advises clients on commercial and technology-related agreements.

As a part of KPPB LAW’s Investment Management practice, Parav is experienced in structuring private placement memorandums (PPMs) and forming hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds and various feeder fund structures. She advises investment management clients on fund formation, compliance, and strategic investments.

Prior to joining KPPB LAW, Parav focused on counseling multiple SaaS digital business services providers. She specialized in negotiating and drafting contracts for information technology services and software. She also led commercial agreements for private agencies, working with state, federal, and private entities. These agreements included partnership contracts, master services and/or supply agreements, statements of work, reseller agreements, distributor agreements, software licensing agreements, cloud services agreements, subcontractor agreements, and other corporate agreements.

Parav earned her law degree from Emory University School of Law. Prior to obtaining her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law, Parav earned her first degree in law (LLB) from Nirma University – Institute of Law (Ahmedabad, India), where she graduated with honors and gained valuable Indian corporate law.

She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and India. Parav is based in KPPB LAW’s Northern Virginia office.
