Asker A. Saeed helps businesses navigate a wide range of legal challenges and build stronger, more inclusive workplaces. As a member of the firm’s General Counsel Services practice, Asker serves as a legal advisor to organizations with limited or without in-house counsel / lawyers on staff. He is available to guide business leaders—through day-to-day legal matters, contract support, risk management, and big-picture strategic legal decisions impacting their business. He leverages both business and legal experience to provide a practical, solutions-focused approach that clients appreciate and value.

He has served as a business law attorney at two large northeast regional law firms and as corporate counsel at United Technologies Corporation’s Pratt & Whitney division, where he served as lead counsel for a large jet engine joint venture and supported engine sales campaigns in the Middle East and Europe. Asker also served as assistant corporate secretary and supported the finance organization of a multi-national joint venture formed under Swiss law. Previously, he held business leadership roles with a large multinational jet engine joint venture, an international staffing company, and a national Canadian electronics retailer.

As the leader of KPPB LAW’s DEI Strategic Counseling practice, businesses engage Asker to create sustainable diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies. Drawing from three decades of leadership experience, he partners with organizations to build equitable workplace systems and cultures where all employees can thrive.

Before joining KPPB LAW, Asker founded and led Saeed Consulting Group, advising companies and law firms on DEI strategy, workplace assessments, and organizational planning and served as the head of diversity and inclusion at a national AMLAW 200 law firm and an international AMLAW 50 law firm.

Asker’s background includes roles as a lawyer, business executive, and senior diversity and inclusion leader, making him uniquely equipped to bridge legal, operational, and cultural goals. He’s worked across industries and borders—supporting companies in aerospace, staffing, retail, and more.

Recognized nationally for his DEI work, Asker is a frequent speaker and thought leader. His contributions have earned him honors such as the Edwin Archer Randolph Diversity Award, the University at Buffalo Law School Distinguished Alumni Award, and the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut Member of the Year Award.

Asker serves on the National Advisory Council for the South Asian Bar Association of North America and is a founding member and past president of the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut. He’s also active in the broader legal community through roles with the Connecticut Bar Foundation and Manchester Community College Foundation.

Born in England and raised in Canada, Asker earned his law degree from the University at Buffalo and his undergraduate degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. Serving as a global legal resource to businesses, Asker is based in KPPB LAW’s Connecticut office.
