Jiten Patel’s legal practice focuses on negotiating and drafting commercial real estate leases; real estate, asset and stock purchase agreements; general corporate and partnership law; commercial real estate matters; and CMBS (Conduit) financing. He also helps businesses with commercial real estate closings and reviewing and clearing titles.
Jiten has been involved in the hotel industry since moving to America as a child. Through his family’s hotel businesses he has gained experience in everything from the general day-to-day operations of a small business to hotel acquisitions. Jiten’s upbringing gives him a unique and experienced approach to issues and matters that affect hoteliers and other small business owners.
Jiten earned his law degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his MBA from the University of Kentucky. He earned two bachelor of arts degrees (political science and economics) from North Carolina State University, where he was the president of EKTAA (a South Asian Social Services Organization, 2006-2011).
