Brian Fennie is a transactional attorney involved with all legal matters related to commercial real estate and focusing on acquisitions and dispositions of multifamily, mixed use, office, retail shopping centers and raw land. His business clients include real estate developers, landlords, tenants, and real estate investors. Brian is an associate with the Commercial Real Estate Finance and Transactions practice at KPPB LAW in Atlanta.
Prior to joining KPPB LAW, Brian served alongside the general counsel at Crown Holdings Group in Atlanta. In that role, he helped negotiate and draft LOIs, PSAs and amendments and also facilitated and analyzed due diligence including surveys, environmental assessments, zoning and property condition reports and appraisals. Brian gained extensive commercial experience working with governmental and municipal authorities as well as national title companies with a focus on property and loan closings, title review and curative work. Brian also assisted with lease negotiations with both local and national tenants. Previously, Brian lived in Chicago and spent six years in legal roles for three private practice litigation firms holding the role of senior law clerk, as well as litigation legal assistant.
Brian earned his law degree from UIC John Marshall Law School where he was active with the UIC-JMLS Real Estate and Corporate Law Groups. He earned his undergraduate degree in sociology and political science from the University of Arizona. A native of Tucson, Arizona, Brian lives in Atlanta and volunteers at various non-profits and charitable institutions. He is proficient in reading and writing in Spanish.
