Samir Patel is an Associate Attorney with Kumar, Prabhu, Patel & Banerjee, LLC. Mr. Patel's legal practice focuses on commercial real estate matters, real estate finance, general corporate and partnership law, and SBA and CMBS (Conduit) financing. He provides counsel to clients of the firm engaged in acquisition, development and management of hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, industrial facilities, and restaurants. Mr. Patel represents investors in structuring and closing sales/purchases for a variety of different types of businesses. He also represents lending institutions in real estate based loan transactions including SBA loans.
In addition to real estate and corporate law experience, Mr. Patel also has experience in dealing with franchising, leasing, and business litigation matters.
Mr. Patel has been involved in the hospitality industry for many years. Through his family’s hotel business he has experienced all aspects of operations. He has assisted his family in successfully developing, managing, and operating several franchised hotels in the Southeast. This experience gives Mr. Patel a valuable perspective with hoteliers and other small business owners.
