Roy Banerjee, a partner in the law firm of Kumar, Prabhu, Patel & Banerjee, focuses his practice on litigation and trial work in business law, real estate law, construction law, and catastrophic personal injury, including medical malpractice and wrongful death. During his legal career, Mr. Banerjee has represented numerous plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation matters, winning many trials and cases, and obtaining substantial judgments and settlements for his clients.
Mr. Banerjee came to law later in life. He had already experienced a successful 15-year career in the hospitality industry as a manager in hotel operations for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. His practical work experience in business operations, budgeting, human resources management, client relations and business development allows him to better understand and relate to the needs of his clients. Mr. Banerjee’s analytical personality and willingness to engage in debate and conflict (in the right circumstances) is an asset in the success of his practice and to the benefit of his clients. He states that superior preparation of the facts and legal arguments are the key ingredients to his positive track record in negotiated and litigated conflicts.
