Nikhil (Nick) R. Prabhu is a founding partner of Kumar, Prabhu, Patel & Banerjee. He has practiced law for 19 years in Atlanta, Georgia and prior to that, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His law practice is focused on complex real estate transactions (real estate closings), corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial loan workouts, business law, landlord-tenant matters including commercial leases, and international (cross-border) transactions.
Mr. Prabhu has represented commercial banks, mortgage companies and institutional lenders in loan transactions, as well as public and private companies and individual investors in various legal matters. He also assists investors with the purchase, development and management of commercial real estate, hotels and motels, gas stations, apartment complexes and shopping centers.
In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Prabhu brings to his clients real-world experience — he was for many years in the banking industry where he managed relationships with Fortune 500 and regional companies, and also assisted high net-worth individuals in developing and implementing complex estate and wealth planning strategies.
