Samir Patel is an associate attorney with Kumar Pathak, LLC. Mr. Patel's legal practice focuses on commercial real estate matters, real estate finance, general corporate and partnership law. He provides counsel to clients of the firm engaged in acquisition, development and management of hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, industrial facilities, office buildings, and restaurants. Mr. Patel represents investors in structuring and closing sales/purchases for a variety of different types of businesses. He also represents lending institutions in real estate based transactions including SBA loan transactions.

In addition to real estate and corporate law, Mr. Patel also has experience in franchising, leasing, and business litigation.

Mr. Patel also has many years of experience in the hospitality industry. Through his family's hotel company, he has been involved in all aspects of operations and development. He has assisted his family in successfully developing, managing, and operating several franchised hotels in the Southeast. This experience gives Mr. Patel a valuable perspective with hoteliers and other small business owners.

Mr. Patel graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2003 and was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 2004. During his time at Georgia State University, he also received a Master in Business Administration. In 2000, he received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Georgia.
