Nikhil (Nick) R. Prabhu is a member of Kumar Pathak, LLC. He has practiced law in Atlanta since 1994 and prior to that, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Prabhu's law practice is focused in the areas of Real Estate Closings; Representing banks, sellers and purchasers in both commercial and residential real estate secured transactions; Real Estate Law; representing investors in the purchase/sale of hotels/motels, gas stations, apartment complexes, shopping centers, businesses and franchises; corporations law, from incorporation through dissolution, including serving as corporate counsel for general corporate matters.

Mr. Prabhu has represented national and regional bank and non-bank lenders, and publicly traded and privately owned companies in real estate, business and financing transactions. He also has experience in complex products liability litigation and commercial litigation.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Prabhu's work experience includes three years in banking as a commercial loan officer with Bank One (fka First NBC) in New Orleans, where he managed banking relationships with both Fortune 500 and regional companies. He also spent three years with Wachovia Bank's Wealth Management division, where he worked with numerous high net-worth individuals in developing and implementing complex estate planning strategies.

Mr. Prabhu is a member of the Georgia Bar Association and is an inactive member of the Louisiana Bar Association. He obtained his J.D. Degree from the Loyola University School of Law, New Orleans, where he was the Chairman of the Moot Court Board and a member of the National Moot Court team. Mr. Prabhu obtained his M.B.A. in Corporate Finance and International Business from Tulane University (1985) and his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Bombay, India (1981).
