Kirtan Patel is the Managing Partner at Kumar Pathak, LLC. Mr. Patel's legal practice focuses on complex commercial real estate matters, real estate finance, general corporate law, and international transactions. His clients include developers, owners, and managers of real estate lending institutions financing real estate backed transactions, entrepreneurs engaged in small to mid-size enterprises, and foreign companies doing business in Georgia.

His experience includes representing lending institutions in real estate based transactions including SBA loan transactions; providing counsel to clients engaged in acquisition, development and management of hotels, apartments, gas stations, shopping centers, offices, golf courses and condominium projects; advising clients in company and partnership structures, including partnership disputes; providing general corporate counsel to businesses; advising clients regarding inbound international investments; and drafting and negotiating joint venture agreements among companies in US and India.

Mr. Patel is highly active in the Indian community of Georgia and served as the President and founding member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, an organization that facilitates trade between Georgia and India. Mr. Patel also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Indus Bar of Georgia and currently serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the North American South Asian Bar Associations. Mr. Patel graduated from the Leadership Atlanta Program, in 2005. Mr. Patel graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 1998, and is a member of State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Patel is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati and Urdu and speaks conversational Punjabi.
